As I Am

It's been a pretty long time since I touched this blog. I've been pretty occupied on the internet lately. I automatically go to Youtube and watch episodes of Joey. You know, the Friends spin-off series. They've got nearly every episode in pretty decent quality and I've finished 2 seasons of it. There are only 2 seasons by the way, so that's why I'm now here blogging.

So I've been fasting. Fasting isn't that bad, I can last a whole 8 hour day of college without much fuss. My board shorts don't really fit me now, so I've lost a bit of weight. I'm not like those Malays who have a huge meal for breakfast and a mega meal for dinner. That's why they gain so much weight, they eat more than they need to.

You know I actually do miss some college food, like the nasi goreng kampung ayam in the HP towers food court. Oh and I heard the nasi goreng ayam in Spinky isn't too bad either, so I do want to try that. Only about 10 more days to go.

Oh you know what I can't stand during puasa, the following three questions:

1. Puasa can drink water ahh?
Come on... This isn't like your usual 30 hour famine. about 14 hours without water isn't that bad.

2. Puasa can swallow saliva or not?
Now Mingyi and Liwen have asked me this, I'm not very surprised because they're retards. But even Mdm.Lin asked me this which was pretty much a suprise to me. Oh and of course you can swallow your saliva. Do you see me spitting all over?

3.Mahadi! Wanna go for lunch?
This is very pissing off. I've been asked the same question by Liwen every darn college day. I do want to have lunch, but I can't. So don't rub it in.

Oh just recently I joined a college football team. It's been really fun playing football again, took me a while to get started but I'm really enjoying myself now. We play once or twice a week at the SKBD field.

Well we did play today. But something happened that I will never forget. Long ball by James, I anticipated the defender to make a mess of it and he did. So I ran past him and chased down the ball, only to see the opposing goalkeeper rushing out. Well I tried to get a touch and get him to bring me down for a penalty. But he was fast and dived forward to claim the ball. The thing is I was stretching of it, and his mouth clattered against my shin. My shin was busted open and in my horror I saw him lying on the field looking lifeless. I thought I killed him. His mouth was all bleeding but to my relief he soon got up. Good thing he was sporting enough and understood it's part and parcel of the game, I know some people who would chase after me with a knife if something like that happened.

I scored against him moments after that, so you could say thats adding insult to injury.

At the moment, playing football with these guys is what I look forward to every week. Everyone is just so friendly, I really don't feel like a stranger playing with them.

Well, thats it for now. Adios.

P.S: Check out this month's Seventeen mag. Adrian Tan's profile is in it.
